For work bags, currently I carry a Coccinelle, but I also like Fendi, Mulberry, Bally, MaxMara, Bottega Veneta. I know a lot of affordable handbag brands, but I'm not sure how affordable they are in America. Any interesting lesser-known bag brand you guys can think of? I also haven't seen Furla reach mass saturation even though I feel Furla bags are very similar to KS in quality and design. So far, I've found a few bags from slightly lesser-known brands at similar pricepoints to the ones mentioned earlier. if you love these brands and don't care about the saturation all the more power to you. I remember loving certain types of shoes until I saw them on literally everyone and then I was no longer into it.ītw, this is not me judging anyone who likes these bag brands as I actually own many of them and am just wondering what to transition to, since I no longer like the idea of having a bag that everyone has. The more I see something, the less I like it. I can't be the only one who feels this way, so I assume some interesting discussion could come from this. Then, if you (like me) can't afford a $2,000 bag, what are you supposed to do? This isn't an issue of me not wanting other people to think I'm basic, but rather that some degree of originality is important to me, and I know certain looks/brands are coded a certain way for better or worse. Unless of course, you're going to buy a canvas bag from a craft fair for $30 but I do like the idea of buying decent quality things from brands I trust. I love the idea of being original, but it seems like anything generally accessible in price becomes "basic bitch" attire, or in other words, predictable and overly saturated. It seems like if I walk down the street, every woman between the age of 25 and 35 is carrying either MK, Tory Burch, Kate Spade or Rebecca Minkoff handbags (myself included). Sorry to use a term that I know offends some people, it's not my favorite either but I don't know how else to describe what I'm talking about. Hair, Makeup, Skincare, Fitness, and Fragrance
